You may feel like you wish to cleanse your crystal after a period of time. This can be beneficial as crystals tend to absorb energies from their surroundings. There are various methods for cleansing a crystal, but the most effective way we have found to cleanse a crystal that has been imprinted, is with an affirmation or visualisation.

Affirmation: With this method, you can vocalise your intention whilst holding your crystal. Here is an example of a cleansing affirmation:

"I cleanse this crystal of any negative or stagnant energies, while preserving the unique imprint within. May it be purified and recharged to radiate the energy of ........ (your belated ones name)."

Visualisation: This technique is accomplished through thought alone. Hold your crystal and imagine any unwanted energies dissolving away, whilst keeping the energy of your loved one strong.
